BROADWAY Beautification Project — Phase 2 to start in Spring 2024

➢ The next phase of the project will involve relocating electric and other necessary utilities outside of the sidewalk vaults that are to be later filled. This will occur over the winter and spring of 2024 and will occur without disturbing the sidewalk surface so the public and traffic will not be impacted.

➢ The final construction phase will be more extensive involving the installation of new storm sewer, removal and replacement of the Curb & Gutter and sidewalks, filling of the sidewalk vaults, installation of new streetlights and vegetation, and resurfacing of the roadway. The timeline of this final phase will be provided after the permitting approval process with IDOT has been completed.
