Virtual First Fridays comes to you on April 3 #virtualfirstfridays

Don’t go anywhere! First Fridays is coming to you. Stay at home and enjoy art, music, and more on April 3 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Visit Aurora Downtown and other participating venues on Facebook for live video throughout the evening. Participate in a virtual scavenger hunt and be entered into drawings for gift cards from downtown businesses.

SciTech Hands On Museum will be hosting 3 live broadcasts! A Lego build at 5 p.m. and science shows on the hour at 6 and 7 p.m.

Aurora Regional Fire Museum
Join the Aurora Regional Fire Museum for some fun during our virtual First Fridays on Friday, April 3. We will be live on Facebook every 30 minutes with a new activity for the whole family to enjoy.

Fire Triangle – 5:30pm
Join Museum Assistant Rachel as we talk about the fire triangle and how knowing of the ingredients of a fire can help you practice fire safety. This will include a demo of the fire triangle to give kids a visual example of how fires start and grow and what they can do to safely dismantle the triangle.

Storytime with Jackie – 6:00pm
Make sure to tune in with the kids for a fun storytime with Museum Volunteer Jackie. Jackie will be reading one of our Director’s favorite childhood books ‘Firemouse’ by Nina Barbaresi.

Researching Your Family History – 6:30pm
If you’re looking for a new hobby to pick up, tune in with former Museum Assistant Cayla Wagner as she talks about how using social distancing as a way to start researching your family history!

To push back against hate, make rainbow art and share by tagging #aurorarainbowart

For every takeout or delivery order we will also include free samples of a few other options from our menu. You can stream the cooking process via Facebook Live that night. Tune in to Decari ToGo at 5 pm


Find the six rainbow letters that spell out AURORA on participating Facebook pages, and make one comment on each of the letters that you find. You will be entered into drawings for gift cards to support downtown businesses (5 drawings will total $1,000, and each drawing will present a winner with $200 in gift cards).
