With good reason Aurora, Ill. has been listed in the Top 5 of the best national cities to trick-or-treat since 2016. Along with Aurora Downtown’s Trick or Treat in downtown Aurora event on the Saturday prior to Halloween, City Hall holds an indoor event from 3 to 5 p.m., and citywide trick-or-treat is a celebratory occasion with decked out houses and lines of costumed children starting at 4 p.m. This year, citywide trick-or-treat hours have been extended to 8 p.m. on October 31, 2019.
As the snowy weather blows in, Saturday’s rainy event shows that inclement weather cannot stop the show. Aurora loves Halloween.
On Saturday, Oct. 26 from noon to 3 p.m. families enjoyed an opportunity to trick or treat early with nearly 50 businesses open with treats. The annual event is sponsored by Aurora Downtown.
Next year, make sure you keep these events on your radar for a screaming good time.
