Pride Marketplace in downtown Aurora seeks vendors for June 8

The first ever Pride Weekend in Aurora, Ill. is coming to downtown Aurora on June 7, 8, and 9. The weekend kicks off with a pride themed First Fridays on June 7; prideful folks will be running through the streets on June 8 at a 5K on Aurora’s West Side, then they’ll head over to shop the Pride Marketplace on June 8 during the Out and About events planned for the area; and it all culminates with the second annual Aurora Pride Parade on June 9.

Organizers at Indivisible Aurora, who heads the Pride events, put out a call for vendors for the inaugural Pride Marketplace from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. It’s planned for Water Street Mall in downtown Aurora.

Hello Artist/Crafter/Entrepreneur,

This is Kimberly and Luma, Co-Chairs of the 2019 Pride Marketplace. We have been busy planning and organizing the Saturday, June 8 Marketplace event, from Noon-5 p.m.

We expect to have a wide variety of vendors at our Marketplace, (there will be hundreds of “Pride Proud” customers maybe thousands hanging out in the downtown area on Saturday) and we look forward to see beautiful handmade items for sale and lots of LGBTQ+ items for sale as well.
