The Venue

The Venue is downtown Aurora’s intimate live music living room. Take in local, regional, and national acts how music is meant to be heard – in a comfortable setting with a premium sound system. The Venue is owned and operated by the non-profit Fox Valley Music Foundation (FVMF), a nonprofit organization comprised of music lovers, music educators, arts enthusiasts and people dedicated to music. FVMF preserves, promotes, and presents the wonderful music of the Fox Valley area of Illinois while providing music education to people of all ages and from all walks of life.

RiverEdge Park
360 N. Broadway

The 30-acre park was designed in a way that would serve many purposes. From the canoe/kayak launch and natural landscaping to the VIP Rooftop Deck and 10-acre music venue, this is the new recreation and entertainment destination for Chicagoland. Bring your kids and fly a kite. Enjoy a local band in the music pavilion with friends. Spread out a blanket and watch fireworks with the family on the 4th of July. RiverEdge Park is your backyard away from home.

The gazebo along the Fox River is an ideal place to enjoy a free, summer concert. Enjoy Wednesdays at the Plaza, a free, summer concert series hosted by Aurora Downtown during the summer months. Check out the calendar for dates!

Paramount Theatre

Paramount Theatre is an exquisite and historical entertainment hall accommodating nearly daily productions. Recently named one of the Top Ten Theatres in Chicago by the League of Chicago Theatres, the Paramount continues to provide world-class entertainment—including dance, music, Broadway-caliber theatre, and children’s programming—for an annual audience of 150,000 patrons from over 250 communities. The Paramount also hosts free community events and its opulent interiors provide a spectacular backdrop for private functions such as wedding receptions or corporate galas.

Aurora Tap House brings live music and DJs to their welcoming space (that includes the longest bar in the city) most weekends. 

Ballydoyle Irish Pub

Ballydoyle is a great pub in Downtown Aurora with over 40 beers on draft and 85 bottled beers. Visit Bally doyle on any Friday or Saturday night and you will find a stage filled with quality live entertainment ranging from Irish music, to Chicago Area bands of any genre.

As you enjoy our hand crafted beer outside on the patio or inside at one of our bars, keep an ear out for live music and an eye out for your favorite sporting events. The live entertainment covers a wide range of musical styles including classic rock, blues, acoustic, bluegrass and many more. Like the beer, many of the acts have a local flavor. In addition, watch for national headliners to grace the Roundhouse stage. There are plenty of options for you to enjoy within the roundhouse.
