Art and Market Aurora brings indoor market to downtown

Art and Market Aurora is a new indoor market opening at Society 57. The market will feature both food and artisan vendors with all Covid-19 restrictions in place. 

A dozen market vendors will be on hand from 8 a.m. to noon every second and fourth Saturday through May at Society 57, 100 S. River St. in downtown Aurora.

Aurora Downtown, a nonprofit of business and property owners, will be hosting the market. Art and Market Aurora will feature candles, cookies, jewelry, baked goods, quality meat, and more.

Visiting vendors include Biscocho’s, Dick’s Mini Donuts, BillyDoe Meats, Tin Shed Farm, Ursula Naturals, Bhoomi Chai Co., Lang’s Cookies, Eats and Treats by AG, and a handful of rotating local artisans. 

Society 57 will feature Modest Coffee, Katic Breads, and Society 57 bottled cocktails to-go inside the coffee shop.

Tin Shed Farm is a small DeKalb County Illinois farm that produces soap, honey, granola, and more seasonally. The farm works to reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as possible in all phases of farm production. All market dates.

Marisol Del Valle, also known as Dzhelasi, is a New York based artist and designer with a penchant for horror. She is known for her creepy-cute art style and can usually be found on instagram drawing up artist trading cards. Market dates: 4/24

Crystal Ship Jewelry was created in roughly 2015 by Shannon, a local mother, creative soul, maker, crystal lover and business woman. She’s passionate about small business and sharing what she loves to create with you. All market dates except 2/24.
