Aurora Downtown is run by a volunteer board with several valuable committees. Participants do not need to be board members to join a committee. Please join us at our bimonthly board meetings held on the third Thursday of the month at 8 a.m. on the fifth floor at City Hall, 44 E. Downer Pl. Finance Committee
Purpose: To provide fiscally responsible financial oversight.

Governance Committee
Purpose: To improve the viability and relevance of Aurora Downtown.

Events Committee
Purpose: To increase downtown foot traffic.

Meets: Fourth Tuesday at 4 p.m. via Zoom
Streetscape Committee
Purpose: To ensure a clean, safe, and presentable downtown.
Chair: Gina Salamone, Huck Bouma
Meets: Third Monday at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom
Business, Attraction, and Retention Committee (BAR)
Purpose: To support and advocate on behalf of established businesses and foster partnerships to attract new businesses to downtown.
Chair: Brian Failing, Aurora Regional Fire Museum
Meets: Second Wednesday at 3 p.m. via Zoom
Marketing Committee
Purpose: To create a recognizable identity for Aurora Downtown.
