You’re invited to join us downtown for dozens of fun, free, and family-friendly events this year. Take a look at our list of events and come have fun with us! We love bringing the community together, and so that we may continue to do so, we require masks to be worn at all indoor venues. As events are subject to change, please check Aurora Downtown’s Facebook page for the latest updates.

First Fridays | Various Venues

Every first Friday of the month from Feb. through Dec. No July. 

Art and Market | Society 57 | 9 to Noon

2nd & 4th Saturdays from Feb through the end of April. 2nd & 3rd Saturday in Nov. & Dec.

Egg Hunt on the Island | 1 to 3 p.m.

Sat. April 9. Go on an egg scavenger hunt via Stolp Island.

Bunny at the Gazebo | 1 to 3 p.m.

Sat. April 9. Stop by Millennium Plaza for a photo with the Easter Bunny.

Food Truck Festival | 5 to 9 p.m.

Fri. May 6. Food trucks line Benton Street during First Fridays.

Enjoy tours, specials, and activities from June 5 through June 11.

Movies at a Museum | Aurora Regional Fire Museum

View a popular film outdoors at dusk. June 9, July 14 and Aug 11

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos from Oct. 15 through Nov. 6.

Trick or Treat Downtown | 1 to 3 p.m

Sat. Oct. 29. All ages are encouraged to dress in costume and trick or treat downtown from 1 to 3 p.m.

Winter Lights | 6 to 9 p.m.

Fri. Nov. 18. Join the city in a festive holiday celebration.

Cocoa Crawl | 5 to 9 p.m.

Fri. Dec. 2. Warm up on First Fridays with hot cocoa. Mug + button required.

Santa at the Gazebo | 1 to 3 p.m.

Sat. Dec. 3 & 10. Stop by Millennium Plaza for a photo with Santa.
