Shop small in downtown Aurora on Small Business Saturday

Businesses in downtown Aurora are gearing up for Small Business Saturday on November 24. The day is a reminder to shop local and to shop small, and several downtown stores are offering specials.

Aurora Regional Fire Museum, 53 N. Broadway, will offer 20 percent off of gift shop purchases, and $10 off any museum memberships.

Tredwell Coffee, 14 W. Downer Pl., Suite 18, will offer 15 percent off of retail coffee and tea.

Wyckwood House, 14 W. Downer Pl., Suite 16, will have beverages for shoppers to sip on throughout the day. The curated artisan and home decor shop will offer a free hand-lettered initial ornament with each purchase. DoriM Photography will be offering free holiday family photos from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All Spoked Up, 14 W. Downer Pl., Suite 12, will offer 20 percent off in stock bikes, and special gift stockings from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Collier Community Center, 36 S. Stolp Ave., will be open from noon to 8 p.m. with items for sale and a toy drive for ages up to 14 for Toys for Tots.

If These Walls Could Talk Custom Framing, 32 S. Stolp Ave., will kick off its Shop Small Holiday Sale that runs through Saturday, Dec. 8. The shop will offer 15 percent off one custom framing order or 20 percent off two or more custom framing orders.
